Free to Feed Fitzroy North

2021 saw great things for social enterprise Free to Feed who secured the lease to the heritage-listed Clifton Motor Garage as their new HQ.

The existing warehouse was stripped back, cleaned and opened up on a shoestring budget. With an existing commercial kitchen already conveniently in the premise, the remaining warehouse space was zoned into different areas in anticipation of exciting new events and initiatives. Nooks were created to provide intimacy in an otherwise expansive space, and a fireplace became a central feature, bringing everything together.

Interior styling and sourcing was done by Made Rupert, with many beautiful items sourced from local artists and makers.

The project was a true community effort, as many of the local community came together to transform the brick warehouse into a warm light-filled place to call home.
