Maree House is about creating a family’s forever home and sanctuary, and letting their personality shine through. A close collaboration between client and architect, the project embraces the individuality of the client which is reflected in the spaces and materials. A lap pool poking into the dining area is the ultimate water feature. A vibrant pink staircase connects spaces outdoors. Curved stone, zany wallpaper and warm interior finishes create character and texture. Zoned so that each family member has their own space, there are tidy central areas and untidy concealable areas for work and play. Gardens, courtyards and balconies ensure that each room is always connected to outdoor space.
